WebIn Rogue Legacy 2 red aether is the one resource that does not seem to keep up with inflation, the further you progress through threads. Comparatively gold and ore are fairly abundant thanks to commander drops scaling with the thread/area. I've been through runs through the entire castle in NG++ with less than 1000 aether gained.
