First of all you need to separate Jenkins variables and shell variables. What you defined is shell variable and you wanted to use it as Jenkins variable in if statement. Correct way of applying this will be something like this:
If you access isFoo using 1) or 2) it will have a String value (of either "true" or "false"). If you access isFoo using 3) it will have a Boolean value. So the least confusing way (IMO) to test the isFoo parameter in your script is like this: if (params.isFoo) { .... } Alternatively you can test it like this: if (isFoo.toBoolean ()) { .... WebIn the example above, all stages will execute, the pipeline will be successful, but stage 2 will show as failed: As you might have guessed, you can freely choose the buildResult and stageResult, in case you want it to be unstable or anything else. You can even fail the build and continue the execution of the pipeline.
