WebMindfulness training can only do so much, but Buddhist practice can no more treat mental illness than it can epilepsy, cancer, or AIDS. Monks can and do suffer from clinical depression and bipolar disorder. I've met a few that do share my diagnosis, but out of fairness to their privacy I will not disclose them.
